History: (Part 1) What made me start keeping a diary?

(Quoted from my diary)

WHAT prompted me to start keeping a diary was because of what happened on 26th Jan 2010. It just made me want to remember all the things on the day because that was the first time ever I was so upset and my friend wouldn’t even want to talk to me. He totally snubbed me and cut me dead. I did my utmost to suppress my feelings but GOSH! I can't take this! This has got to stop! I just hoped they’d do well by me!

Written on 26th Jan 2010, Tuesday (be gone down in history)
Well, it’s been a long day. My sixth-form secretary (Kah Yong), treasurer (Chee How) and I were so hacked off because the fifth-form treasurer didn’t go collect the fees, and the secretary, who’s also a fifth form dude, is no different, they’re equally lame. They didn’t do jackshit any! And they’ve gone and made a terrible mess of the Laksamana House! They didn’t even have a proper name list of all the members of Laksamana, did you ever! They’re just passing the buck all along.

They both said they didn’t know what to do, and said it wasn’t their responsibility to do those things. I mean, hello? Are you two still sane? If it wasn’t you two, who else’s gonna do that? Aren’t you both forgetting what posts you’re holding? Okay, whatever!!! So, me and my secretary and treasurer had to do everything over and make it just so for them. It was time-consuming, of course.

DISASTER STRUCK HERE!

I haven’t the slightest notion why my secretary had a blazing row with me. Freaky, huh? Did I keep you in suspense? Even I myself am in a sheer daze. Never mind, I told myself that the question marks would have gone by tomorrow. After that run-in, he didn’t even want to talk to me. It was total disaster for me. Well, I’m now waiting for the arrival of tomorrow, hoping that everything will return to normal.

History: Part 2

27th Jan 2010, Wednesday (Fell out with LKY)

In the morning.....
At first Kah Yong wanted to approach me, but then on second thought, he asked Eli to keep him company, and then he didn’t wanna talk to me. Eli, on behalf of him, asked me to hand over the paper that I helped him to print. I pretended that I didn’t know what she was talking about, finally he himself talked to me. She was like very unwilling, the look on her face, eww!

Today is an extra-curricular day. At the Chess Annual General Meeting, it was very apparent that he was giving me the coldest EVER shoulder! When the meeting was about to brought to a standstill, I saw my secretary running off at the mouth.

OF ALL THE NERVE!!!

With all the gesture he made, I was pretty much convinced that he was ranting and raving about yesterday’s things and my shortcoming at Elizabeth (his classmate). I tried to listen in, but to little avail, then I gave up. I just sat at the corner talking crap with Jeremiah. While I was in the middle of schmoozing with Jeremiah, I took a sneak peak at him.

WELL!!! He was still mouthing off about it away! Dang it!!! I felt like standing in front of them and then holler at them, like, “Can you meet me effin' halfway!?”. But... I didn’t. I just didn’t have the guts to do so. Well, making the first move didn’t come easy to me, let alone hollering at them!

“Oh my God… Did you just raise the bar for me? WHY?!? Why on earth can’t I even utter a word in front of’em? = = Gee…!!! "

History: Part 3

28th Jan 2010, Thursday (Reconciliation between Kah Yong and me)

I was so mad at them, nah, wasn’t really mad, just kinda disappointed, or upset (would be a better word) ‘cos all of’em just thought I did him wrong, was I ever! C’mon!

*****

29th Jan 2010, Cross-country day.
Rushed to school early in the morning, hoping I could order drinks, been looking for Chee How all around, couldn’t find him. Chee How was waving at me at the 2nd floor, he told me to go up and look for him. Well, when I reached there, but he wasn’t there anymore! I was gasping for air.

Then......
Kah Yong told me to go do something for our house. AND..... that would mean... ... he ALREADY made the first move!

I wished to reply and made as if to talk to him, but couldn’t, couldn’t help. I..... just didn't have the guts to talk to him...

Exhausting running, I was jaded. I‘d gotten my house points as I got back to school within the time limit.

History: Part 4

30th Jan 2010. Went for tuition in KL.

Went to shop with Kor Yan and Zhi Ning, Zhi Ning wouldn’t let m
e be in her sight when she was trying on the shoes, Kor Yan bought a blouse/dress for her sister. Then they both forced me into buying something for myself. They told me to try on the funky/punk clothes.

Zhi Ning said she hates going shopping with her mom, cos her mom would always tell the salesgirls to look at her size. On our way back, Kah Yong called!!

He called twice and didn’t want Ning and Kor Yan to know. He thought I was with Tay on the car. Luckily Tay wasn’t with me, or this would have rained on his parade.

He came pick me up at night. Tay, been given a ride to David’s by Kah Yong, was super mad at me! She was standing right beside me and kept saying “You have to say sorry to Kah Yong!!! You MUST!!”. But I purposely kept talking to my maid and ignoring her, telling my maid to not lock up the doors cos I’d be back at night later then. Tay was totally NOT patient AT ALL. She kept telling me to apologize to them. At this very moment, Eli and Kah Yong were cracking up in the car. They’d think Tay was a little naïve cos she actually fell for their trick/wonderful plan! On the car, Tay didn’t slap me, but instead hit me like crazy!!! When we were going up the hill, passions were running high, blazing row. We both kept quite. Eliz was riding shotgun and got super angry with Kah Yong within the blink of an eye! Tay didn’t know I was chuckling and giggling.

Ling: I just don’t understand why some people just don’t feel embarrassed and even dared to take me up on a lift to David’s bash. I don’t know how to go. I’ll drop you all off here!
Khor: (Finally spoke) FINE! I’ll call David up!
Tay: (whispering in my ear) Shhhh! SHUT UP! Khor!
Finally we reached David’s house.
Eli, flinging the card across and said “I’m down with your impudence and this would be the last time I ever hop your clunker! I’m outta hereeeee!”

Kah Yong VS Elizabeth

Tay got out of the car a.s.a.p. Me too. I thumbed up and said to them “Nice one!” They’re indubitably very good actors!

At David's, Soke Yan said “Zhi Ning, they’re just acting, you’ll just have the watch this movie! Don’t be worked up, okay?”

Zhi Ning was absolutely perplexed, didn’t know what actually happened.

IN THE END...

everyone cracked up, laughing like crazy and Tay was super embarrassed!

Haha! Success!

Tay said “Gee!! Ling Kah Yong!!! Khor Jin Kit!!! I wanna kill you two! Oh my god!!! I don’t know where on earth to hide my silly face! Darn it! “皇八蛋”!”

Comment: Months later, I realized it was my fault. I was a jerk. More than just a jerk to have started the disaster. I now wish to grab this chance to apologize and say sorry to my best friend. Hope he'll see this some day. And, also, I really want to say "THANK YOU". Thank you for being such a good friend.

I'm So Back!

I started to get sick since Sunday, wasn’t very sick then. I couldn’t sleep at night on Sunday night, and darn it, tomorrow is Monday. When I woke up, it wasn’t the usual Monday morning feeling. I was very pasty and groggy. I texted Pn Nair: Teacher, I am not going to school today ‘cos I am VERY ill. Maybe I could present (my RND presentation)tomorrow. Then, she replied: OK (only)

I really thought I could have gone to school but for sleeplessness last night. What a bad night it’d been. At 1.30am I got out of bed to blow my nose and drink some warm water. I even tried breathing in the warm vapor from the mug of hot water, which Leonard taught me to (I had the flu the first day I went to his house), but it didn’t help any.

I was still in my bed at 10am something and mom/dad (don’t remember which one) walked into my room and told me they already scheduled an appointment with Dr ABC. I went there. He wasn’t very good; at least that’s what I thought. I asked him why people having a fever feel cold, he replied me with some lame answer “Yeah, people with fever do feel cold, and sometimes hot too. It may be H1N1” H1N1? That serious?! I was taken aback by his additional information. Gosh, I wondered if he knew what’s what.

After taking the medicine, I went to sleep. And each time I got up, I had a splitting headache and my eyes started to ache, too!
What a lame coincidence, huh?
In the evening, I went downstairs and chatted a little with mom. I told her my symptoms and she said “I could safely conclude by the symptoms that you have that you must have crashed through a fiend” Then, she called up Motor Keong.
We went to his house to stamp it out.

I still wonder if they really exist in this world. Believe it or not? Every time after I see Motor Keong - problems FIXED (even medicine can't help AT ALL) This is super strange and eerie.

6th April, I was absent from school, though I was kind of OK already. It was just that the food in the canteen is awful! Couldn’t afford to get sick again because of food poisoning.

I am so back today! Yes, I am back, classmates! Natch, lotsa Mr. Wong notes were waiting for me!

Mr. Khor teaching Chee How to solve a math Q

Actually, if you take a closer look, you'll notice that this girl in the white school uniform is actually the girl in green (the next picture)

BEHOLD! This "Mr. Khor teaching Chee How" heralds a 180 degree change xD
Excuse me, I admit to stealing these 2 pictures from Siah's facebook.

Everyone, just take a look at the girl in green shirt.. She was standing behind me and Chai with arms akimbo, know what this means?
ANS: She disagreed with the way we solved the Math question xD

She could've solved the math question without racking her brains because she's the Math extremist (aka 8 po; now you know who 8 po is?) =P

SALUTE!

Yo yo yo, your Majesty, just enlighten us about this math thing and rectify us if we're ever way out in our calculations.

During A Test

13th March 2010, Saturday (Adapted from the rough draft of my diary on 11th/3/10)

WTF? WTF!!? Gee, I really hate to use this acronym “WTF” because it’s too corny. But I now really can’t resist saying/asking myself “WTF?!”

I can’t believe I’m actually writing this on the exam sheet DURING one test. The bell’s just gone. I lifted my head and took a look at the clock hanging right in front of me. WOT? Still another half an hour to go? But I’ve slept like an age before now.

Sitting next to me (my RHS) is Mee Wah, the elevated-IQ girl of Pre- U SA (my class). Gosh, I really can’t make myself understood what on earth is keeping her going although she’s indubitably struggling to do the test. She just has the stamina. How come I don’t? Seeing her doing the Bio test like this, I really feel daunted and I’ve been thrown a curve. I go, “Am I really apt for Form 6?” It’s really hard. I barely have the time to study, let alone review.

Well, yesterday I tried reading the lumpish Longman Biology text and I understood what I read, I really did. Once more, I really did. But how the heck can’t I do the test right now? As a matter of fact, what I read last night is what I’m staring at now! This means I spotted the questions. I didn’t actually spot it, though, I was just lucky to have “spotted” the right thing. The questions – ogling me, me – glaring at questions (eye contact) But then, now, it’s as though I hadn’t read jack shit! So, I now officially decide to jack it all in. Totally blank. My brain – blank, questions – blank, too! I’m apparently “nothing-ing”.

During this upcoming one-week vacation, I ought to do something. Revise? Not really. Read or study first, more like it! (since I know jack sh*t) If I could, that’d be wonderful. However, it’s utterly beyond the realms of possibility.

OK, guess I’m much OK now. Enough writing.

Upsy-daisy! The invigilator (Pn Fatimahani) just walked past me!

-sweating-

She saw me writing so much for the answers to the test questions. LOL It’s certainly kept her in suspense because she knows pretty well that I almost flunked my Bio paper last time. She must be wondering how I could write so much without even breaking a sweat!

In fact, I’m writing my diary, dodo! xD

PS March test, beat it! I would've aced it but for laziness.

On The Bus (KL-Bentong)

20th Feb 2010, Saturday
OHHH my go.Ossssh, know what? When I was on my way back home from KL, I was really hacked off for a bit. You'll never guess what happened. On the bus, I was trying to grab forty winks 'cos I was utterly dead beat after attending 2 tuition classes in KL.

I grabbed my seat as soon as I got on the bus, before long, an Indian lady, who's in her twenties, came 'n' sat next to me. Now, the bus driver had girded up his loins and started going. I was super pooped and drifted off to the land of Nod in two shakes.

Out of the blue, someone called up the Indian girl who sat beside me! Oh my Jesussss...This was when the disastrous catastrophe struck! This Indian girl was jabbering away like it was going out of fashion as though she didn't even have to breathe! She talked like a machine gun, to be exact, her puss was just like the MG 42! NON-STOP firing X_X Bang bang bang... (I was awake @@) Dang her stupid chops!!! How sad is that? Even when the bus was just halfway through the tunnel, she had already been ready to roll! It was like a race "Get set... GO!" IF you were me, I'm very sure you'd have just given the mucker a good wallop in the gnashers and then wasted her by banana chopping her into two!

As soon as the bus got out of the tunnel, she swiftly put the damn cell over her ear and kept on chinwagging = = OH! C'mon, p-lease! As if she would croak without getting to talk! Hardly a second went by without her stentorian voice filling the bus.

Then, I only wished I could disembark right off.

What bliss! I was home, at long last!

A Day When Everything Went Wrong

16th Feb 2010, Tuesday (初三)
It was around 7PM and was time we headed for Bukit Tinggi for our big dinner. I was granted consent to be the driver on our way. I got carried away and told Zhi Ning that I was going to Bukit Tinggi and she’s like “You lucky devil! I’m only eating at my nanny’s” and then when I started the car, I’m like “Yes! Let her rip! And I’ma gon’ have mean grub for my dinner soon!”

(Driving) Moments later, I heard “Craaaaaaaaak”. Oh my good Lord, what happened?! I thought I had a car wreck. Jasmine (my sis) and Puie Leng (my cousin) was at the back of the car and they saw sparks coming out from beneath the car. That indeed scared the pants off them. Absolute silence for a moment. Without the slightest hesitation, dad got out of the wheels right off the bat and took a look at what on this dang earth actually happened. One of those thingamabobs of the car fell off beneath it and I couldn’t seem to move the car anymore because it kept scratching the road whenever I tried moving it to see if it could be driven any further. Then I tried to park it at the side of the road where it was safer. I told myself that there must be fireworks from my dad later. For some strange reason, he didn’t say anything and just asked me for a flashlight to check the car for damage. I didn’t even dare utter a syllable, man!

On the other hand, inevitably, mom was telling me off for having “totaled” the car. Er, no, ripping into me more like it. She’s like “You’re not experienced enough to drive the car… yada yada yada” and she just went on and on away! I’m like “Gosh, can you go easy on me?” BECAUSE I didn’t actually crash into anything AND the car had already been on the blink even before I actually fumbled the car key into the ignition! It was still a def-looking car, not yet a clunker! I didn’t know why, I just felt sorry to have made this blooper, blunder anyway. I called it a blunder because we broke down miles from anywhere, no one saw it, yeah, “blunder” would be the better word there. We couldn’t make Bukit Tinggi and ended up at 双喜楼 = =

Mannnnn! That was like a bad dream! Couldn’t go to Bukit Tinggi……… Christ!! I knew, I knew that my cousins were disappointed because their hope of dining at Bukit Tinggi had altogether gone kaput.

PS : AIN'T my fault, OK? It was the car’s. Yo, Zhi Ning, I'll be bound that you thought I was dining at Bukit Tinggi, in fact, NO. hehe. Well, this was a day when everything went WRONG =)
